Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee Inc is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with daily activities in their homes and communities. DSPs support meal prep, personal care, and medication administration, and help facilitate community involvement under clinical guidance.

We offer a starting pay of $15 per hour, tenure pay scale, annual bonus, weekend shift premium, health and life insurance, and retirement and PTO benefits. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene and medication administration.
• Facilitate community involvement and support therapeutic plans in partnership with clinical staff.
• Deliver compassionate, person-centered care in our person-supported homes.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are the exemplary reflection of the wonderful mission-driven work we do here every day. Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
