Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to balance clinical care with team leadership, guiding therapists while remaining hands-on with patients.

You will supervise staff, drive quality improvement, and coordinate schedules to meet business goals. The role requires state PT/OT/SLP licensure, CPR, and at least three years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP.
• BLS (CPR) required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline‑specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or related certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
