Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, restocking, collecting carts, cleaning, and maintaining the store environment to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Collect and stack carts, push carts back to the front of the store.
3. Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning floors and work areas.
4. Operate trash compactor and manage waste disposal.
5. Demonstrate good customer service skills.
6. Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to understand and communicate company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to learn and operate necessary equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance and meet performance standards.
• Complete the introductory (probationary) period.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes as approved for the role.
• Possess and maintain any required licenses, certificates, or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for 55%, walking for 45%.
• Maximum pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in the manual and handbook.
