Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, placing bags into carts, restocking returns, retrieving carts from the parking lot, vacuuming the front-end, restocking coolers, and collecting trash. We serve communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey, and are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment that values care, courage, integrity, teamwork, and humor. Duties and Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
• Collect trash, operate the trash compactor, and perform housekeeping duties, including keeping floors and work areas clean.
• Collect, stack, and push carts back to the front of the store.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety regulations and company policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Meet company performance standards, including attendance.
• Complete the required introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Perform all duties safely.
• Wear proper, approved clothing and shoes.
• Maintain any required licenses, certificates, or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Job involves continual maximum cycles.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, walk for 45%, sit 0%.
• Category IV physical demands: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum static pull: 20 lbs.
