Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, placing bags into carts, restocking returns, retrieving carts from the parking lot, vacuuming the front-end, restocking coolers, and collecting trash.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Collect trash, operate the trash compactor.
3. Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas, perform hourly clean sweep.
4. Collect, stack, and push carts back to the front-end.
5. Demonstrate good customer service skills.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Proficient in using or learning to use relevant equipment and tools.
• Adhere to performance standards and maintain regular attendance.
• Complete the probationary period (30 or 60 days).
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Wear proper attire approved for the job.
• Maintain valid licenses, certificates, or permits as required.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, variable based on business needs.
• Physical demands include lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., standing for 55%, walking for 45%, and static pulling up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

Understanding of company policies as outlined in the employee handbook and policy manual.
