DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outstanding friendly customer service.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of check-stands and assist with spill and breakage cleanup.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance as per company policy.
• Assist with special projects and other duties assigned by supervision.
• Work within management planning guidelines to ensure productivity.
• Support safety standards and report equipment issues.
• Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Perform accurate price checks.
• Manage store supplies efficiently.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, break rooms, and restrooms.
• Assist with spill and breakage cleanup to prevent hazards.
• Observe security standards and report suspicious behavior.
• Keep the store clean and organized inside and outside.
• Sort and return bottles according to vendor requirements where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Minimum age requirements met for specific tasks.

• Ability to perform technical job requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent repetitive motions while standing.
• Bend and lift up to 15 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Handle various substances including cleaning and packaging materials.
• Work outdoors in inclement weather when necessary.
• Move shopping carts and bottles as needed.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Greet customers and provide courteous assistance.
• Bag or package merchandise per policies.
• Sort and return stock items, prioritizing refrigerated and perishable goods.
• Manage shopping carts and provide carryout service.
• Record bottle returns accurately and operate bottle crushing equipment safely.
• Meet physical requirements of the position, with accommodations if needed.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 hourly
