Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, placing bags into carts, restocking returns, retrieving carts from the parking lot, vacuuming the front-end, restocking coolers, and collecting trash.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
2. Collect and dispose of trash, operate the trash compactor.
3. Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas, perform hourly clean sweeps.
4. Collect, stack, and push carts to the front-end.
5. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to operate relevant equipment and tools.
• Adhere to performance standards, including attendance.
• Complete the probationary period (30 or 60 days).
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
• Possess and maintain any required licenses or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for 55%, walking 45%.
• Category IV physical requirements: lifting, carrying, pushing up to 50 lbs., static pull up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements
