Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, restocking, retrieving carts, cleaning, and waste management. We serve communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey, fostering an inclusive environment that values diversity and connection.

Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule and prepare for duties at shift start.
2. Collect, stack, and return shopping carts to the front of the store.
3. Operate trash compactor and manage waste disposal.
4. Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas.
5. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
6. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Physical capability to meet ergonomic requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Adherence to attendance and performance standards.
• Completion of a 30- or 60-day introductory period.
• Willingness to wear appropriate uniform and maintain valid licenses or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Maximum physical exertion: lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., static pull of 20 lbs.
• Stand for approximately 55% of shift, walk for 45%.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and policy manual.
