Job summary

The YMCA School Age Care Program is seeking a part-time School Age Care Program Staff to support before- and after-school activities in Shoreview/Arden Hills/New Brighton areas. This role offers mornings and afternoons with a 6:30 am to 9:10 am and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm schedule, Monday through Friday, and a $16.50 per hour wage plus benefits such as a free Y membership.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• Complete required YMCA training courses within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities.
• Good communication, organization, and human relations.
• Willingness to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the writing and implementation of weekly lesson plans.
• Organize and lead a variety of activities appropriate for school-age children.
• Ensure that the site is kept clean and organized.
• Maintain program records including incident reports, daily rosters, logbooks, and attendance records.
• Assist in completing child and program evaluations.
• Maintain CACFP and Minnesota licensing for meals and snacks, if applicable.
