Job summary

The YMCA is looking for School Age Care Program Staff at Snail Lake Education Center in Shoreview to work part-time or full-time, Monday through Friday, mornings or afternoons. The role offers a hourly wage of $16.50 with benefits such as a free Y membership and opportunities for professional growth.

You will plan and lead recreational activities for school-age children, maintain records, and ensure licensing and CACFP compliance where applicable, while upholding YMCA core values of honesty,

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 to qualify for this role.
• Complete required YMCA trainings within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities.
• Good communication, organization, and human relations skills.
• Willingness to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with writing and implementing weekly lesson plans.
• Organize and lead activities suitable for school-age children.
• Keep the site clean and organized.
• Maintain program records including attendance and rosters.
• Assist in completing program evaluations.
• Adhere to CACFP/MDH licensing for meals when applicable.
