Job summary

YMCA Pike Lake Education Center in New Brighton, MN is seeking a School Age Care Program Staff to support before/after school activities. Roles are available as part-time and full-time positions, with morning or afternoon shifts (6:30 AM–9:10 AM and 2:10 PM–6:00 PM).

Compensation is $16.50 per hour, with benefits and a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include planning and leading recreational activities, maintaining records, and ensuring CACFP and licensing compliance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Complete YMCA trainings within 30 days of hire.
• Able to lead, plan, and implement activities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly lesson plans.
• Lead activities for school-age children.
• Keep site clean and organized.
• Maintain program records and attendance.
• Support CACFP meals licensing if applicable.
• Contribute to evaluations.
