Job summary

Advent PT in Michigan seeks a Rehab Tech (Physical Therapy Aide) to join our team. The role supports therapists by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, transporting patients, and assisting with treatments as directed. A high school diploma and strong communication are required, with healthcare exposure preferred.

The Rehab Tech will also assist with routine clerical tasks and maintain a safe, organized environment following clinic policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provides care per physician’s orders and plans of care under supervision.
• Transports patients to and from Rehabilitation Services departments.
• Prepares patient for treatment and assists therapists with treatments.
• Communicates with patients and health-care team to promote safety and outcomes.
• Obtains equipment and supplies and prepares them for use.
• Maintains clean and orderly therapy areas.
• Performs routine clerical tasks to support front office processes.
