Job summary

Legends Global in Wilmington, NC is seeking a PT Prep Cook to assist the Executive Chef in preparing hot and cold foods for concessions and events. You will follow approved recipes, maintain a clean workstation, and help manage inventory.

Candidates should have at least two years of kitchen experience, the ability to read English, lift up to 40 pounds, and work irregular hours including nights and weekends. The position is on-site at the Wilmington Convention Center.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in food service in a kitchen environment.

• Knowledge of safe health standards and sanitary practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains organized sanitary workstation at all times.
• Properly labels and dates food items for storage and sales.
• Assists in the preparation of cut vegetables, baked goods, proteins, and salads.
• Minimizes waste by controlling overage and usage.
• Follows approved recipes and production standards.
• Prepare all food for concessions as directed by Executive Chef.
