Job summary

Legends Global at The Oncenter is seeking a Concession Stand Cook to prepare hot and cold foods for events, ensuring quality service and food safety.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized recipes, maintain cleanliness, and coordinate with staff during busy periods to deliver guest satisfaction.

This is a part-time, non-exempt position with schedule-dependent hours based on events; reliable attendance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6+ months experience in a Food & Beverage environment preferred.
• ServeSafe and/or TIPS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold food to order per recipes.
• Provide high-quality service to guests and coworkers.
• Follow food handling techniques to prevent waste and costs.
• Assist with opening/closing inventory counts and rotate stock.
• Set up station prior to opening and maintain readiness based on par levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and tools.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating, and FIFO for products.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Serve prepared items to concession cashiers and guests.
• Maintain flexible shift coverage including evenings and weekends.
