KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. seeks a Pharmacist to implement and uphold the HealthDirect Standard of Practice, ensuring the highest quality care in dispensing prescriptions.

You will perform QA for accuracy, ensure regulatory compliance, manage third‑party claims, inventory, and records, and provide outstanding customer service while protecting patient confidentiality. This on‑site Ohio position emphasizes working with doctors, maintaining a professional environment, and meeting budget

Aufgaben

• Follows the HealthDirect Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions
• Performs all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines
• Follows all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy
• Oversees the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims
• Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs.
• Ensures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines
• Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all times
• Insure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention
• Oversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to insure a clean and professional environment
• Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions
• Maintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practice
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information
• Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
• Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines
• Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
