Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Follows the HealthDirect Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions.
• Performs quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed and reports dispensing incidents.
• Follows all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy.
• Oversees submission, resubmission, and collection of third-party claims.
• Manages and balances pharmacy inventory to maximize turns while remaining in stock for customers.
• Maintains prescription files and records per state and federal guidelines.
• Ensures outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees.
• Oversees maintenance of the pharmacy department to keep a clean, professional environment.
• Maintains professional relationships with doctors and other health service professionals.
• Keeps abreast of developments in Pharmacy and Health Care Services relevant to responsibilities.
• Maintains patient information confidentiality.
• Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
• Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines within operating parameters.
• Interfacing with auditors and outside agencies as needed.
• Performs all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the HealthDirect Standard of Practice as it relates to the provision of the highest quality health care service to our customers

Job Duties

• Follows the HealthDirect Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions
• Performs all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines
• Follows all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy
• Oversees the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims
• Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs.
• Ensures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines
• Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all times
• Insure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention
• Oversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to insure a clean and professional environment
• Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions
• Maintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practice
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information
• Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
• Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines

Job Requirements
