KPH HealthCare Services, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Professional to dispense prescriptions in accordance with HealthDirect standards and to uphold quality assurance and regulatory compliance across the pharmacy operations.

The role involves managing third-party claims, inventory, records, and customer service while coordinating with the Facility Manager on hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. It also includes MTM and discharge-delivery support to ensure compliant care.

Responsabilités

• Follows HealthDirect Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions.
• Performs quality assurance to ensure technically accurate prescriptions; reports dispensing incidents per guidelines.
• Follows state and federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy.
• Oversees initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims.
• Manages pharmacy inventory for maximum turns while remaining in stock for customer needs.
• Maintains prescription files and other records per state and federal guidelines.
• Ensures outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees.
• Enforces loss prevention policies and reports deviations to Loss Prevention.
• Maintains a clean, professional pharmacy environment.
• Develops professional relationships with doctors and other health professionals.
• Keeps aware of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields and integrates them into practice.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information.
• Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
• Work on-call schedule, where applicable.
• Interacts with Facility Manager regarding hiring practices, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Performs MTM, IMMR, short stay reviews, delivery at discharge, and other clinical functions to support consultant pharmacists and maintain compliance at customer locations.
• Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines.
• Interfaces with auditors and outside agencies, as needed.
• Completes all mandatory regulatory training programs.

• Performs all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines
• Follows all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy
• Oversees the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims
• Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while remaining in-stock for customer needs.
• Ensures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines
• Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees always
• Insure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention
• Oversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to insure a clean and professional environment
• Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions
• Maintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practice
