Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to implement and follow the HealthDirect Standard of Practice, delivering high-quality pharmacy services.

The role dispenses prescriptions, performs QA steps for accurate dispensing, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. You will manage third-party claims, inventory, patient files, and maintain confidentiality while providing outstanding service.

Qualifications

  • Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.

Responsibilities

  • Follows the HealthDirect Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions.
  • Performs all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed.
  • Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Oversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third-party claims.
  • Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while remaining in-stock for customer needs.
  • Insures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensures outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees.
  • Oversees loss prevention policies and reports deviations to Loss Prevention.
  • Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information.
