Job summary

UPS is seeking a Dispatch Analyst to support dispatch and preload teams in the United States. The role involves analyzing dispatch plans, identifying opportunities, publishing reports, and conducting service audits to drive improvements in on-time performance.

Responsibilities include verifying downloads, identifying failures, distributing daily reports, updating documents, using mapping tools, and performing monthly dispatch audits. A Bachelor's degree and DPS/UDC knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent (preferred).
• Knowledge of DPS and UDC systems is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products or similar software is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies system downloads and analyzes dispatch data.
• Identifies service failures and exceptions and communicates findings.
• Prints and distributes multiple daily reports to stakeholders.
• Updates reports and communicates changes to PDS.
• Utilizes mapping tools to support dispatch planning.
• Compares actual dispatch to planned dispatch and documents variances.
• Maintains loop analysis for periodic performance review.
• Completes monthly dispatch audits.

Job Description

Job Summary: This position assists with dispatch analysis and daily routine tasks that support the dispatch and preload teams. Employee is responsible for analyzing dispatch plans, identifying areas of opportunity, report publication and service audits.

• Verifies system downloads.
• Identifies various service failures and exceptions.
• Prints and distributes multiple daily reports.
• Makes necessary report updates and communicates changes to PDS.
• Utilizes mapping tools.
• Plots previous data and compares actual dispatch to planned dispatch.
• Maintains a loop analysis to ensure periodic analysis of all loops.
• Utilizes available reports and systems.
• Completes monthly dispatch audit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Dispatch Planning System (DPS) and UDC knowledge
• Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent software
• Customer-focused with strong planning and organization skills
• Familiar with package flow technologies - Preferred
