Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution in Bel Air, MD. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and promotional execution while maintaining a customer-ready store environment.

You will manage workload planning, in-stock optimization, and staff development, providing MOD coverage and upholding store policies.

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Ability to manage store operations and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance.
Ensure execution of company policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
Maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
Oversee Planogram execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
