Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a diligent hotel cleaner to uphold high cleanliness standards across guest areas. You will thoroughly clean restrooms, public spaces, and surfaces, ensuring presentation meets brand expectations.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, reporting maintenance needs, and assisting guests with basic inquiries while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to notice and correct small defects in rooms and surfaces.
• Fitness to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Experience in cleaning and maintaining public hotel areas preferred

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and floors using cleaning agents.
• Dust furniture, pictures, and shelves; reach overhead and move heavy items safely.
• Polish metal surfaces and maintain cleanliness of ashtrays and waste areas.
• Restock supplies and report maintenance issues as needed.
• Assist guests with directions or basic inquiries and uphold safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms overhead to reach all above areas.
• Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Monitor cleanliness throughout assigned shift
• Restock supplies and report maintenance issues
• Assist guests with directions or basic inquiries
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Prior housekeeping or public area experience preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have flexible schedule
• Ability to push and/or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
