Job summary

Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is seeking a part-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide behavioral health services to youth and young adults in a structured juvenile detention facility in Baltimore, MD. The role encompasses assessments, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, family engagement, and documentation within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold Maryland licensure (LCPC, LCSW-C, or LCADC) and have at least 3 years of counseling experience, with a

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Current Maryland licensure (LCPC, LCSW-C, or LCADC).
• Minimum 3 years of professional counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 8–12 youth.
• Provide bi-weekly individual therapy, group therapy, and family engagement sessions (45–60 minutes).
• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational groups.
• Conduct mandated screenings, clinical assessments, and follow-up services.
• Provide crisis intervention and complete all required documentation.
• Complete daily clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with detention personnel and community partners.
• Maintain flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
