Job summary

A growing outpatient mental health clinic is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional – Sex Offender Specialist to provide crucial mental health services to children and adolescents in a juvenile detention center setting. Responsibilities include conducting therapy and assessments for youth and creating treatment plans. Candidates must possess relevant licensure and a Master’s degree, alongside strong communication and leadership skills. This contractual position offers flexible scheduling, with onboarding in February 2026 and clinical roles commencing March 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years counseling experience.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a juvenile detention center required.
• Willing to complete a federal and state background check.

Responsibilities

Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional – Sex Offender Specialist for a contractual, as‑needed role providing mental health services to children and adolescents in a juvenile detention center setting. This position involves supporting youth experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while providing specialized interventions for behaviors of concern. The role is contractual and as‑needed, with flexible scheduling based on site needs. Onboarding and training begin in February 2026, with staff assuming full clinical roles effective March 1, 2026.
