Job summary

Rocky Gap Casino Resort is seeking a dedicated restaurant associate to deliver courteous dining service to guests. You will take orders, assist with side duties, and maintain a clean, efficient dining area in a fast-paced casino setting.

Essential duties include menu knowledge, timely service, and collaboration with the Food & Beverage team. Must be 18+, able to pass background checks, and available for all shifts. Competitive benefits and tips possible.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, polite and neat appearance.
• Ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to handle problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
• Proven experience delivering high level guest service.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for transactions.
• Read/write/understand English in instruction and memos.
• Availability to work all shifts, in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass background/work-card checks.
• Must verify right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, courteous service of food and beverages to guests.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and neat dining area.
• Take and fill food and drink orders; pre-bus tables regularly.
• Maintain current knowledge of menu and ingredients.
• Work in a clean, sanitary environment following health regs.
• Respond to guest requests promptly per policies.
• Assist other staff with side work and opening/closing duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
