PRIMARY PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this job is to clean office spaces, restrooms, break and lunchroom areas, remove trash, operate floor cleaners and power washers, and clean up spills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
• Clean and vacuum floors in offices and conference rooms.
• Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
• Remove trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean spills, and use power washers for sidewalks.
• Dust and wash surfaces, mirrors, glass, and equipment.
• Resupply items as needed.
• Use floor cones to indicate hazardous conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand safety and company policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to learn and use job-related equipment and tools.
• Complete the probationary period (30 or 60 days).
• Read, write, and communicate in English related to the job and safety.
• Meet performance standards, including attendance and safety.
• Wear proper clothing and footwear as approved.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on needs.
• Maximal job cycle: continual.
• Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, walk 45%, sit 0%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks.
