Primary Purpose
Provide fast, easy, flexible and friendly service to our customers through the achievement of Food Lion customer service standards. Responsible for assisting the Food Lion To-Go Lead in maintaining standards according to Food Lion's standard practice manual. Maximize sales through excellent customer service.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile, using their name when possible, and provide prompt, friendly service to enhance their shopping experience.
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Food Lion's guiding principles, core values, vision, and strategy.
• Efficiently shop multiple customer orders using designated tools and equipment.
• Recognize and differentiate various types of produce, including similar varieties.
• Substitute items upon request.
• Scan, bag, and label purchases accurately following company policies.
• Verify customer IDs and adhere to store policies on alcohol sales.
• Assist customers with order pickups.
• Complete Accountability Forms as part of the process.
• Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude toward colleagues.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform, including apron and name badge, with a neat appearance, following dress code.
• Control store expenses by properly using supplies.
• Follow all company policies and safety guidelines.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Notify QA of cleaning or maintenance issues.
• Complete required training courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Meet physical requirements of the role, with or without accommodations.
