Job summary

Richcroft, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Personal Supports Specialist (DSP) to provide hands-on care for individuals with developmental disabilities in the North Harford area.

The role includes assisting with hygiene, meals, outings, social activities, shopping, planning, and home duties to promote independence. Responsibilities include supporting daily living skills, attending social groups, and helping individuals engage in meaningful activities while ensuring safety and respect.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Current driver’s license with fewer than three points on record.
• Willingness to obtain Med Tech Certification.

Support Services/ Harford

Rate of Pay $22/hr*

We are seeking a Part Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.

Support a young girl in the North Harford area with activities at home and in the community. Work on skills to increase independence at home and in the community. Attend social groups and clubs, fun and skill based activities including: cooking, movies, exercise, meeting friends, etc.

Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.

This position is:

Monday-Friday 20hours

Sat & Sun 16 hours

Specific schedule will vary based on needs.

The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.

Some lift and transfer may be required.

Paid training, including CPR/First Aid, and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification!

DSPs assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:

Rate of pay *$22/hr.*

* Regular Base rate is $22/hr. There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)
