Job summary

Planet Fitness is hiring a Customer Service Representative at our Baltimore, MD club. The role focuses on delivering exceptional member experiences, greeting guests, answering questions, signing up new members, and promoting fitness classes in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

Starting wage is $15 per hour with hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months thereafter. This is a part-time position with growth opportunities and included benefits for team members.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote our fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to members and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Part- Time: Starting at $15 per hour.

Schedule

Schedule: Sunday- 11:30am - 7:30pm, Monday 3:30pm - 11:30pm, Wednesday 9am - 5pm, flexible other days.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
