Job summary

First Financial Bank in Kentucky is seeking a Consumer Banker to work with existing clients and prospect for new FFB clients, deepening relationships by booking business and by referring to internal partners as appropriate.

The role requires 3–4 years of client service and sales experience, a HS diploma, and strong knowledge of banking products. Notary authorization is preferred, with responsibilities spanning account openings, teller duties, and digital client support.

Qualifications

  • 3‑4 years client service experience in a retail environment.
  • 3‑4 years sales and service experience with success in achieving sales and service goals.
  • High school diploma or GED required; notary authorization preferred.
  • Strong bank product knowledge and solid sales skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in transacting business within the branch, drive‑thru, by phone and email.
  • Model First Financials Mission and Values; serve as a trusted advisor using the First Client Conversation Model.
  • Participate and lead in site center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales, service and referral goals set by management.
  • Provide digital assistance for clients using the bank’s online offerings.
  • Stay informed about bank products, processes, procedures and complex offerings.

Consumer Banker

Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen client relationships by both booking business directly and by referring, as appropriate, to internal business partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management.

Physical Requirements

Compensation

Pay Scale $18.00 - $20.67/hr
