Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional customer service: Welcome and connect with each customer, recommend products, provide sampling, and enhance the customer experience.
2. Produce high-quality products: Serve items meeting visual and quality standards, demonstrate safe food handling, and follow merchandising and storage standards.
3. Present yourself professionally: Maintain a clean, professional appearance during every shift.
4. Contribute to store profitability: Follow cash handling procedures, register policies, and inventory guidelines.
5. Learn as a barista: Engage in self-initiated learning beyond standard training, and adhere to company and Starbucks standards of product and conduct.

Qualifications

• Preferably supervisory and/or barista experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
• Meet company performance standards, including attendance.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills; food handling certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, flexible based on business needs.
• Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs.
• Stand: 55%; Walk: 45%; Sit: 0%.
• Category IV physical activity: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
