Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service: welcome and connect with customers, recommend products, and enhance their experience.
• Conduct product demonstrations and sampling.
• Produce high-quality products following company standards, ensuring visual and product quality, safe food handling, and proper merchandising.
• Present oneself professionally during every shift.

Contribute to Store Profitability

• Follow cash handling procedures and register policies.
• Maintain inventory and stock guidelines.

Learn and demonstrate knowledge as a barista, including standards of product and conduct established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks. Engage in self-initiated learning beyond standard training.

Qualifications

• Prefer supervisory and/or barista experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
• Meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills; food handling certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, sit 0%, walk 45% of the time.
• Category IV tasks: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max static pull: 20 lbs.
