Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school or equivalent
• Minimum Experience: 1 year, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience
• Minimum Field of Expertise: Medical office management and medical secretarial experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments, obtain authorizations and pre-authorizations for patient care services; maintain master calendar for providers.
• Prepare patient charts; set up exam rooms; assist clinicians with exams; monitor patient flow.
• Assist providers with setting up the environment, perform non-patient tasks and patient-related tasks as requested; assist as medical chaperones.
• Maintain files and records; oversee equipment and office supply inventory.
• Performs other related duties as assigned; USC reserves right to modify duties.
