This **is a 12-month fixed-term position** with the possibility of an extension. This individual will support the physical therapist within the clinic by improving efficiencies, performing both non-patient and patient-related tasks.**Job Accountabilities:*** Schedule patient appointments, answer general questions, obtain authorizations and pre-authorizations for patient care services. Schedule appointments with ancillary departments or other care providers as needed. Maintains master calendar for providers.* Ensure patient charts are prepared prior to appointments. Sets up exam rooms, assists clinicians with exams as needed, monitors patient flow.* Assists providers, as requested, by preparing the physical environment, performs non-patient related tasks, and patient-related tasks as assigned or requested by the provider. Assists as medical chaperones with room and equipment setup and are physically present to assist the provider and/or patient and visualize physical contact between the patient and provider during the sensitive health exam/treatment.* Maintains files and records, oversees equipment and office supply inventory.* Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
