Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Mobile, AL is hiring servers to provide friendly and responsive service for our brunch-focused, all-day dining concept.

As a Ruby Krewe member you will communicate with guests, handle money, know dining room procedures, stand up to 10 hours, lift 20-25 lbs, and enjoy growth opportunities with benefits.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
• Must communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Able to safely lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 20–25 lbs.

Job Summary:

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server's primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans!

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
