Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center in Marion, NC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to assist residents in restoring function in a skilled nursing facility. You will implement plans under a PT, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, and educate on activities to maintain gains after discharge.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Associate’s Degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered PTA license in the practicing state.
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to navigate software programs.

Responsibilities

• Help residents regain optimal physical function in a SNF setting.
• Implement and monitor therapy plans under PT supervision.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and activity modification.
• Guide independent exercise programs to sustain outcomes after discharge.
