Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a licensed mental health professional to deliver psychotherapy in post-acute and long-term care settings in Alabama. The role is part-time (2 days a week) with no nights or weekends, offering clinical autonomy and strong organizational support.

The clinician will perform assessments, diagnoses, and individual therapy, focusing on depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions, with coverage for Troy and Hartford.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AL LMHC, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license.
• Eligible for independent practice and billing.
• 6 months of experience as a psychotherapist.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses and individual psychotherapy.
• Treat depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders, grief and life transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.

Role Overview

• Part-time (2 days per week) within Monday – Friday
• No nights or weekends
• Enjoy stability, support, and flexibility with onsite patient care and remote documentation
• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy
• Treat depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and loss plus life transitions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
• Coverage area includes Troy and Hartford, Alabama

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation is fee for service (FFS), estimated compensation range of $30,346 – $36,415 annually with no cap on productivity income
• Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided
