Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a Psychotherapist II to provide evidence-based psychological treatment for patients aged 0–21. This hybrid role includes both clinic and field work, focusing on assessment and intervention services.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of clinical experience with families, excellent communication skills, and a Master's Degree in a related field. Bilingual candidates in English/Spanish are preferred.
This position is hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote, with flexibility to vary.
Day Shift
The team is responsible for the assessment, treatment planning, and intervention services (psychotherapy) for a defined caseload of patients ages 0–21 and their families. Completing at least two intake assessments per week. The Psychotherapist II provides psychotherapeutic services for a caseload of patients with acutely complex needs. Employs evidence-based psychological treatment interventions and provides case management services as needed. Services are primarily clinic-based, but some field work is expected, depending on the needs of the program or individual clients. This position works with other team members to support access to overall services and is also responsible for supporting partnerships designed to enhance the availability of services care at CHLA and at external partners.
