The Psychotherapist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles provides psychotherapeutic services for children, adolescents, and their families with complex needs. You will assess, plan treatments, and deliver psychotherapy, with possible group facilitation and case management support.

Monday-Friday, Day Shift
The Psychotherapist, under the supervision of a licensed clinician, provides psychotherapeutic services for a caseload of patients with acutely complex needs. Responsible for assessment, treatment planning and psychotherapy provision to a defined caseload of patients and may also support the facilitation of groups. Employs evidence-based psychological treatment interventions and provides case management services as needed. Services are primarily clinic-based, but some field work is expected, depending on the needs of each individual case. This position works with other team members to support access to overall services and requires registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology with previous experience in a child, adolescent, or family mental health setting. American Heart Association BLS certification required. Registration with California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) or as an Associate MFT (AMFT) is required.
