Job summary

Singular Psychotherapy Center of DC is seeking licensed clinicians to join as contractors for a hybrid practice in Washington, DC, offering in-person and telehealth sessions. The team prioritizes ethical, client-centered care and ongoing professional growth in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates will hold DC licensure (LGPC/LPC/LICSW/PSYCH/L.MFT) or equivalent, with liability coverage and a commitment to culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

• DC licensure as LGPC/LPC/LICSW/Psychologist/LMFT or equivalent.
• Maintain professional liability insurance.
• Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, evidence-based practice.
• Experience serving diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

About the position:

We are currently seeking licensed psychotherapists and LGPCs to join our growing practice on a contractor basis. This hybrid position offers flexibility to provide both in-person services in Washington, DC and telehealth sessions.

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, client-centered clinician who is committed to ethical practice, ongoing professional growth, and delivering high-quality care to diverse populations.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current licensure in Washington, DC as one of the following:
• Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
• Licensed Psychologist
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent DC licensure
• Ability to maintain professional liability insurance
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and evidence-based practice

Preferred:

• Additional licensure in Maryland and/or Virginia
• Fluency in a language other than English
• Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds and underserved communities
• Specialized training or experience in areas such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, ADHD, life transitions, or multicultural counseling
  
• Provide individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy services
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs
• Participate in consultation and case collaboration as appropriate
• Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards
