CapitolHill Consortium for Counseling & Consultation (CCCC) is seeking one or more psychologists to join a multidisciplinary team serving the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region. The role offers part-time or full-time options as a 1099 independent contractor in a hybrid setting.

Applicants must be independently licensed in VA or MD (DC licensure preferred) with 1–3 years of experience and a passion for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Licensed psychologist with independent licensure in VA or MD.
  • Priority to clinicians licensed across jurisdictions including DC.
  • Commitment to high-quality mental health care and ongoing development.
  • 1–3 years preferred; local candidates only.

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological evaluations and gather clinical histories.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to diverse clients.
  • Establish treatment goals, monitor progress, and refer when needed.
  • Assess and respond to risks such as suicide or self-harm following standards.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and secure documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and administrative staff.

We are seeking one or more psychologists to join our collaborative clinical team and provide high-quality, culturally responsive, patient-centered care to diverse populations across the lifespan. Psychologists who specialize in child, adolescent, adult, and elder care are welcome.

Scheduling Flexibility.

Key Clinical Responsibilities

Psychologist responsibilities include:

  • Assessment and diagnosis — Conduct psychological evaluations, gather clinical histories, administer appropriate assessments, and develop diagnostic impressions when within their scope of practice.
  • Treatment — Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and other appropriate psychological interventions tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Treatment planning — Establish goals with clients, monitor progress, modify treatment when needed, and make referrals when another service is more appropriate.
  • Client safety — Assess and respond appropriately to risks such as suicide, self-harm, abuse, violence, or other urgent concerns, following applicable laws and professional standards.
  • Documentation — Maintain accurate, timely, and secure clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant communications.
  • Other responsibilities as required
Required Qualifications
  • Candidates must be independently licensed in Virginia or Maryland. Licensure in Washington, D.C. is preferred, with priority given to clinicians licensed across all jurisdictions
  • Priority consideration given to clinicians willing to serve pre-adolescent populations
  • Passion for high-quality, compassionate mental health care
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Desired experience 1-3 years
  • Must be local
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with range of diverse clientele
  • Availability during after-school hours, evenings, or weekends
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (some in-person availability preferred)
