Einstein seeks a qualified Research Assistant to assist with neuropsychological assessments, data management, and manuscript preparation in coordination with the PI and research teams. You will score assessments, conduct interviews, and ensure data quality across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include literature reviews, IRB submissions, grant documentation, and training staff in interviewing techniques. Candidates should be fluent in English and Spanish and hold a psychology degree.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field.
• 3 years work experience in related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Excel, SPSS or other research data system.
• Strong time-management and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail in maintaining study documentation.

Aufgaben

• Conducts and scores neuropsychological assessments in compliance with study protocols.
• Conducts participant interviews using standardized techniques to ensure accurate data collection.
• Conducts literature reviews to support research activities and manuscript development.
• Manages research databases using Excel, and other statistical or data management programs.
• Organizes and prepares grant-related documentation for IRB submissions.
• Review, and audit data for accuracy; follow up with participants as needed to resolve discrepancies.
• Demonstrates willingness to learn phlebotomy techniques necessary to fulfill project needs.
• Assists with protocol amendments and updates.
• Contributes to the development of manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
• Provides relevant data and support materials for grant proposals.
• Trains new staff on interviewing techniques and assessment procedures.
• Prepares written reports summarizing findings and study progress.
• Conducts off-campus site visits as required; and,
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Proficiently perform job functions in both English and Spanish based on department need

About Us

This position assists the Principal Investigator(s) in administering and scoring neuropsychological assessments, overseeing data quality in coordination with data management team, and working with statistical team to perform analyses. Additional responsibilities include supporting IRB submissions, protocol updates, the preparation of manuscripts and grant materials and training new staff on interviewing techniques and assessment procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field required;
• 3 years work experience in related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proficient verbal and written communications skills; Proficient in Spanish and English
• Proficiency with Excel, SPSS or other research data system;
• Strong time‑management and prioritization abilities;
• Excellent attention to detail in maintaining study documentation.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.
