Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine Campus, seeks a Neuropsychology Testing Technician under supervision to administer and score neuropsychological tests for medical and psychiatric patients and research participants. You will assemble records, prepare case histories, and record observations while supporting research protocols.

Starting at $16.10–$26.90 per hour, the role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30am–5:00pm) with non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or related discipline.
• Coursework in psychological assessment.
• Some externship or internship in a patient setting, doing clinical work or clinical research.
• Additional education or experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

The Department of Medical Psychology is seeking a Neuropsychology Testing Technician who will be under the supervision from faculty psychologists, postdoctoral fellows, and senior psychometrists will independently test and administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests for medical and psychiatric patients and research participants, under faculty supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or related discipline.
• Experience: Coursework in psychological assessment.
• Some experience (externship or internship) in a patient setting, doing clinical work or clinical research.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or closely related discipline preferred.
• At least one year of psychological testing experience preferred but not required.
