Position Overview

The California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is seeking compassionate and dedicated psychologists to work in community-based settings, providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities during times of acute crisis. These roles involve assisting adolescents (11-17 years old) and adults (18+) in regional center services, within community homes located in Vacaville, Springville, and Costa Mesa.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessment, support, and intervention to individuals with developmental disabilities in crisis.
• Assist with activities of daily living, emotional support, and promoting independence.
• Work in community homes to ensure a safe, supportive environment for residents.

Minimum Qualifications
