HAN Staff is seeking a Psychologist for a correctional setting in Corcoran, CA. The role offers a $152.40/hour pay rate on a 1099 basis, with a Tues-Fri 7am-5pm shift.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and screenings.
• Provide individual and group counseling to patients with mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based psychotherapy.
• Provide crisis intervention and monitor progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other staff.
• Maintain confidential clinical documentation and patient records.

Psychologist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and screenings.
• Provide individual and group counseling to patients with mental health and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral interventions.
• Assess patients for mental health conditions, emotional concerns, and behavioral issues.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation and patient records.
• Provide education and guidance to patients on coping strategies, behavioral health, and wellness.
• Follow applicable clinical, ethical, confidentiality, and facility standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Psychologist in a correctional setting.
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
