Job summary

Texas A&M University Health Science Center in Bryan, TX is seeking a Program Coordinator II for the Psychiatry Residency to coordinate daily activities, manage curriculum delivery, and oversee accreditation readiness.

In partnership with the residency program director, you will handle office management, recruitment support, alumni relations, and program promotion, ensuring smooth operation of the Psychiatry Residency across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of residency program, medical education, or undergraduate education program coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the psychiatry residency program and maintain trainee training files per ACGME/ABPN/TMB rules.
• Oversee faculty and resident scheduling to meet educational objectives and accreditation standards.
• Implement systems for resident recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding.
• May supervise office/administrative staff in support of the program’s mission.
• Assist in establishing short- and long-term goals, objectives and strategic plans.
• Collaborate to create, implement, and evaluate new programs and policies.
• Prepare program activity reports.
