Job summary

Premier Health and Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine seek an experienced educator to serve as Associate Program Director for the Psychiatry Residency Program. Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry (or Board-Eligible).
• Active DEA Registration.
• 1+ year of experience in graduate medical education teaching role(s).
• 1+ year of experience supervising residents and/or medical students.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and assist the Program Director in the residency program's management and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME standards and institutional policies.
• Maintain ongoing clinical activity with high quality care and professionalism.
• Lead recruitment of residents, participate in interviews and selection.
• Develop and implement a curriculum fostering resident growth and board readiness.
• Mentor residents, students, and faculty to support professional development.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback to achieve competency milestones.
• Foster academic excellence, professionalism, and patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with departments to align residency education across specialties.
• Contribute to continuous program evaluation and improvement.
