Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric services to Veterans.

The role includes diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy, with potential telework and flexible scheduling options. Reporting to a VA Medical Center and working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to mental health care delivery across outpatient and telehealth settings.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Residency in an approved core psychiatry program leading to board eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide general psychiatric clinical services to Veterans.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and psychiatric consults.
• Medication management and psychotherapy as part of integrated care.
• Possible on-call duties and telework in accordance with policy.
