Now HealthCare seeks a Psychiatrist for outpatient services in the Austin, Texas area. This mission-driven nonprofit health center offers opportunities to treat adults, children, adolescents, and patients with substance use disorders across multiple locations including North Austin, South Austin, Bastrop, Harker Heights, and Georgetown.

The role is full-time with a Monday-Friday schedule and 100% outpatient focus.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Trauma-informed approach to care and competency in integrated behavioral healthcare.
• Passion for improving access to mental health services and serving diverse, underserved patient populations.

Responsabilités

• Full-time, permanent position.
• 100% outpatient practice.
• Average of 15-20 patients per day.
• Limited call responsibilities, approximately 1-2 times per year.
• Opportunity to teach mental health interns and/or medical students.
• Option to pursue an appointed faculty position.
• Flexible opportunities to focus on adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, substance use treatment, or a broader patient population.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary of $248,000 per year plus RVU incentives
• Estimated total annual compensation of $320,000-410,000
