Job summary

Compass Health Center in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Child, Adolescent, & Adult Psychiatrist to join our growing team. Lead interdisciplinary teams, provide comprehensive psychiatric care, and develop individualized treatment plans within our PHP/IOP programs.

We value collaboration, clinical excellence, and mission-driven care. Applicants must hold BE/BC status, a Maryland license (cross-licensure possible), and DEA certification to support our expanding services for teens and adults.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist for adults.
• Active Maryland medical license; DC/VA license preferred.
• Willingness to cross-licensure via Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• Ability to obtain Maryland Board of Medical Practice licensure and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care in PHP/IOP programs.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose, prescribe medications, and provide therapy.
• Lead multidisciplinary clinical teams and inform treatment plans.
• Collaborate with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists.
• Manage approximately 10–12 patients per day.
• Work Monday–Friday with limited call responsibilities.
