Accel Research Sites in Decatur, GA is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Physician (Psychiatrist) to lead clinical trial activities and ensure participant safety and protocol compliance. The role reports to Adrienne Hilliard and requires MD/DO with active licensure, board certification, and potential CPR/ACLS preference.

Responsibilities include participant evaluation, enrollment, data accuracy, staff training, and collaboration with sponsors and teams to optimize study conduct.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with active license in the state of practice.
• Board certification in specialty.
• Clinical Research experience is a plus.
• CPR required / ACLS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensures medical well-being and safety of participants per FDA/ICH/GCP and HIPAA guidelines, study protocols and company policies.
• Overall site leadership with focus on efficiency, patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluates and screens participants for eligibility and enrollment.
• Supports delivery and retention of study participants.
• Collaborates with sponsors, clients and team members.
• Maintains accurate data records and follows protocols and GCPs.
• Leads protocol training for staff.
• Participates in Investigator Meetings and ongoing education.
• Performs other duties as required by study needs.
